When Glowforge owners print a Catalog design, they’re now sharing their experience and feedback for you. That means when you are searching for the next amazing designs to print, you can now see their feedback, including how they liked it and ways they personalized it!
Introducing catalog reviews: when you print a new Glowforge Catalog design for the first time, you now have a chance to share your rating. That will help other Glowforge owners choose designs, and let the design creator know what you think of their work! You’ll receive a quick survey, and in just a few clicks, you can let folks know how it went for you.
When you log into app.glowforge.com, you’ll see an updated homepage to help you make the most of your Glowforge. From here, you can easily access your most recent designs, discover new and popular Catalog designs, tutorials, and more.
Perhaps our most often requested feature! Smart Folders help you organize everything you can print.
You can organize your projects however you want, even adding the same design to more than one smart folder. (For example, you may create an ornament and add it to the “Celebration & Events” smart folder, but also put it in the “Print before December” smart folder to make sure you don’t forget it!)
We’re trying something new! As a way to understand how we’re doing with all of our customers, we’re going to occasionally present this one-question survey at the start of your printing day. It’s a big deal if you get it - less than 1% of our customers get this chance to provide feedback! We’d consider it a big favor if you’d share your opinion.
We’ve made it easier for you to manage and print Catalog designs with multiple parts such as this Fantasy Airship, Keepsake Jewelry Box with Slide-out Drawers, or the Mid-century Modern Rambler Organizer. We heard lots of feedback that it was hard to find multiple parts of catalog designs, and this should make it a snap.
Thanks to talented creators like yourselves, the Glowforge Catalog now features thousands of designs. With new, updated categories for all these designs, it’s now easier than ever to find the perfect design for your next print.
Thanks to your feedback, we found and fixed a bug that was causing some designs to show up blank.
We are implementing a security feature to protect your account. If someone is attempting to access your account by repeatedly guessing passwords, we will temporarily lock your account to keep it safe.
Find a problem with a catalog design? We’ve updated the form to report it so we can fix it more quickly! Just find the design in the catalog and click “report this design”.
We have an update to the firmware that will be automatically applied the next time you turn on your printer. This update doesn’t change anything now, but will help us prepare for future improvements.
When you stock up Proofgrade materials and other products from our store, you’ll see some great new options to streamline your checkout! We now offer Google Pay, Apple Pay, Shop Pay, and PayPal, as well as secure credit card checkout. Choose whatever you prefer - or whoever offers the most points!
If you are logged in to your Glowforge account, typing " glowforge.new " into your browser’s address bar will take you right to the app and create a new blank design. It’s the fastest way to leap from inspiration to creation!

We’ve made it easier for new Glowforge owners to set up their new printer at setup.glowforge.com. The setup experience is now organized by chapters and is accompanied by updated photography and video clips.

A few weeks ago, we shared some improvements to the way you can copy and paste artwork to and move artwork from one Glowforge design to another. This is now released and available for all Glowforge owners.
