Second freebie release for this week.
You might have noticed that I’ve been pretty obsessed by transparent UI lately after my two posts on Dribbble and the earlier little freebie release.
So I finally wrapped up the final kit and made it available for download.
Now that this is out of my system, I’ll re-focus on something else.

I’ve been addicted to Pinterest lately.
It inspired me this desktop software. Kind of a mix between Pinterest and Littlesnapper.

I’ve got two Dribbble invites to spare, if you’re interested just follow the steps underneath. I changed the rules for this one, I want to see shots this time.
Step 1. Create a Dribbble shot (400*300px) of whatever you want, preferably your work or the first thing you’ll post on Dribbble if you got invited.
Put an URL to your image into the comment (no email please).
Every shot will be published on this thread as you give them to me with your name and a link to your portfolio and twitter profile so please provide them as well if you want people to see your work.
Please just ONE image per player.
Step 2. Share this post. As usual, I want a sufficient amount of entries to be able to make a real choice. So tweet a little thing about it.
I won’t check if everyone does it, just play the game.
Step 3. Wait. I’ll announce the two winners on Twitter and on this blog once I have enough entries and after reviewing them all.

Here’s a little freebie created after I installed the new Photoshop CS6. I really liked the new black interface and the really good use of the shadings.
It’s also the first time I create a calendar freebie, I think this was missing from my freebie library. Now it’s done.

Finally, the new freebie is here! And it’s a big one.
I’ve always been a fan of Spotify from the closed beta. I like their service of course and their great design and color scheme. When I bought my iPad, I was wondering if a spotify app already exists, and since it’s still not out, I decided to create this freebie of what the Spotify iPad app could look like.
Of course you can find some flaws in the interface but playing with the Spotify color scheme was nice and you might be able to grab some few things from there.
You can see I used my recent buttons freebie as a base to create the top part of the app. Also the little selector freebie is extracted from previous work on this one.
If I can give one advice, keep everything you do.
So here is my tribute and my first freebie since a while. I hope you’ll enjoy it and if you do, share it!

Today’s little freebie is kind of a selector or sliding thing with numbers and scrollbar…
I don’t really know what it is but I figured it was worth sharing as a little interface element when I withdrew it from a bigger project I was working on.
Initially created for an iPad app, I added side arrows and clickable scrollbar at the bottom to make it more web-compliant.
Today’s freebie is a little one: some big player buttons.
Big with a little 3D effect, I think it might fit pretty well in your futur projects.
Maybe I’ll add them in a more complete music player later.
On a not related subject, I’ve recently been added to the designerslist website.
I was following this site for quite long and that’s great to be on it. Make sure to check it out, every blogs and sites listed really worth a click.

Big Freebie coming today, an iPad app design! I might be a little late in the game but I bought a magnificent iPad recently so I wanted to play with it since I don’t have the chance to work on a real project for now. Designing for this device is not only challenging but really interesting since it’s quite different than on the web or even than an iPhone app. You can explore new path in interaction or elements design. Also everything you design looks better on a tablet (maybe because we’re used to our regular computer screens since long years or maybe because this device is just cool, don’t know…) and that’s kind of a bonus.
Let’s get back to the freebie. Don’t try to find some sense regarding the app features. As my iPhone freebie, I didn’t really think of what could do this app, it’s just a pack of features and elements that could be useful for your projects or it could work as a base for your future app.
I really wish you’ll have as much fun using this .psd as I had designing it.

Hey there,
Today’s freebie is directly related to my previous freebie, the iPhone app that I published months ago.
In this freebie, I mentioned that I was planning to release a retina version of this « fake » app. Here it is!
I know maybe it’s a little late but I finally did it and I’m planning to release an iPad version! Since I just bought one I thought it could be a good idea. So maybe in 2 or 3 months… who knows .
